Orbitel EAD

Main activities and responsibilities:
- Was responsible for planning, developing and supporting new internal and external applications.
- Sought new products and technologies for implementation.
- Generated monthly voice statistics for the financial department in order to calculate monthly invoices between Orbitel and the other telecom operators.
- Provided the commercial and financial departments with full range inquiries and information for clients activities and payments when needed.
- Developed an internal support system to help the technical department provide better services to clients. The system had multi level users with rights management, so that different departments could have different access to the data. There were also an interface for the end users. The support system was integrated with most of the company's internal systems including the ticketing system (RT) and Cacti.
- Developed an internal connectivity request system to help the commercial and technical departments communicate about the possibilities on connecting new clients.
- Assisted the marketing department in promotions by writing scripts designed for assembling and sending of advertisement e-mails.
- Developed an internal “semaphore” system so the commercial department can see which clients are not using their services.
- Developed multiple alert scripts monitoring various servers and sending alert emails when a problem occurs.
- Monitored failed payments through our partner banks and processed them manually when needed.

Position: Customer Support
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Supported and helped clients with various problems – voice services, dial-up service, value added services (domains, web hosting and email hosting)
- Analyzed and troubleshot different calls destinations through company's international partners
- Supported the company's Windows network. Eliminated arising software and hardware problems in the network. Installed and configured laptop and desktop computers, provided full range of support services (anti-virus, backup, etc)
- Configuration of email, web, VPN, Windows sharing, Users and groups policy, etc.
- Configured Windows Firewall and Linux Firewall and NAT (iptables).
- Administration of www.hit.bg - customer support; dealing with ftp access problems, assistance for html errors.
- Initiated and developed a client tracking system which was connected to the phone lines and was able to recognize the caller as a client and to deliver relevant information to the customer support staff. The system was rewarded with a bonus and lead to a promotion.
